The stock market game is finally over. This will probably be the longest blog entry I have ever done as well, seeing as I am to summarize my entire game from over the past two months. So basically in a nut shell, I did not win it because I let my ego get the better of me and I wouldn’t sell my stocks when they were at there best. Some companies that really helped me out were Netflix, Apple, Hastings and Horizon. Without these companies I would probably be sitting down somewhere with Cal. Companies that killed me though were Wireless Telecoms, Yahoo, Community Health Care, RF Monolithic, and People’s Educational Holdings. In each of these few companies I lost at least 1,500 dollars. Some companies that were sort of indifference were Eaton, RoyaleEnergy, and Google. Overall these companies did not lose or gain that much money for me, but in the longer run were a bad stock selection seeing as I could have invested in another one of my companies that could have gained me a butt load. If I could go back and change one thing it would be the timing of my selling. Had I sold all the companies when I had the opportunity to sell them at their highest, I would most likely have over 150,000 dollars right now, but indecision and my ego got the best of me. I really liked this game though, the competitiveness and excitement of the game. As I know everyone is going to say this but the lag time of the game killed me. I was not able to get out of companies at the right time and this also played a mental part, because I was trying to judge when to sell my companies and that led to some mistakes. In the future I would like to mess around in the sotck market it, but I know I will not because it is just to much of a risk. I finished this game up in 2nd place with a total equity of $105,645.50.

Today is the last day for the stock market. I have little chance of winning, so I just invested the rest of my money into HRZ hopefully it goes up 5 cents and I make a last second comeback. This game has been pretty fun, and made this class pretty intersing. Me, Bobby, and Bateman have been battling it out since the begining and it looks like Bobby will come out on top, but I’m pretty confident that I kept a well enough blog to get a 100 on the stock market grade.

I hate indecision!!! Yesterday I paniced and just started buy random stocks that were at a low price, when I knew I Should have bought into HRZ again, but no I didnt and guess what HRZ went up 60 cents today and I could have had 100,000 shares in it. Life freaking sucks this game knows how to get the best of me.

Ok so sense we havn’t had school in like a completely week this is going to be a ~~SUPERBLOG.~~ Well over Easter break in between me stuffing my face with all of my grandmother’s amazing cooking, I periodically checked my stocks. Both of them were pretty much at a steady pace, neither one really dropped or gained a buttload, however these stocks aren’t doing it for me, and I need to make a move fast. I’m behind the leader by about $10,000 and I am going to need to make about $15,000 to secure the win. I’m not sure what I’m going to invest in, but i will be putting all of my money in a $1 stock sometime in the next 36 hours.

In this game sh*t just got real! Bobby is in the lead right now with an equity of $111,372.83, but after that there is just about a 5-way tie for 2nd and everyone of us have a chance to catch him and make this thing interesting. I’m still loosing money in CYH and with only 13 days left in the game, I need this stock to make a big jump to about $35 dollars.

This week I’ve started off loosing money, but my stock is starting to rise today. Yesterday was a hard day I ended up loosing about $5,000. I’m $10,000 dollars behind Bobby because he got lucky and found that one stock that he invest in, and keeps a secret from everyone else.

I got out of HRZ. I got the profit I needed to make a move and it was a good decision. The company I invested in is up 40 cents today and HRZ is going way down. Bateman is out of the way now, but Bobby has risen back up. Hopefully he does something dumb and his company drops before he can sell and mine continues to rise. my total equity right now is 109,320 dollars.

Horizon has plateaued. It is barely moving up or down in the stock market, so I’m hardly gaining any money. With Bateman bein gin the same stock as me it also makes it difficult to get the upper hand. I almost screwed him in a deal yesterday by telling him we can both sell at the same time and duke it out like men. However, he did not know the more it increases the further ahead he gets. It almost worked, but failed to go through.

HRZ is such a mystery. I never know when its going to go up and when its going to go down. I should have sold it when I was making 25,000 dollars on it, but my ego and arrogance got the best of me. I could have reinvested in it when it was down and be making even more money on it. Its breaking even right now though, so I’m just praying that it goes back up even though now Bateman and Cal are both invested in it.
